    Vasileios Papakostas received his diploma by Medical School of Thessaloniki in 1982. He received his Radiology expertise in 1988. He worked at the University Hospital of New York in 1990-1991 , at the General State Hospital of Athens in 1995 and at the University Clinic of Zurich in 2000 having a scholarship.
